First Korean Blog post!

So I decided to start posting in Korean periodically so I can see my progress over time throughout the program. Since this is my first one it’s going to be pretty short and probably have a lot of mistakes.. but that’s all part of the learning process! 🙂 This post is just about my daily life here.

안녕! 저는 한국 생활 정말 좋아요. 한국에 오기 전에 덕일에 살았어요.덕일은 좋아요. 나라가 정말 예쁘다. 9월1일에 한국에 왔어요. 매일아침에 5시반쯤에 일어나요. 그리고나서 아침을 먹어요. 제 좋아한는 아침음식이 계란이에요. 제 하숙집 엄마가 좋은 요리사에요 하고 제 아빠가 회사에 다녀요. 제 하숙집 여동생들은 애기들 이에요. 여동생들은 6실, 4실, 2살 이에요. 제 학교 생활도 좋아요. 제 반친구들은 정말 바빠요 그렇지만 그들 친절해요. 저는 모든 젓일 이해 못해요. 그렇지만 저는 얼심히 공부해요. 수어시간에 보통 숙제해요. 저는 수업에서 재미교포만 입니다. 제 NSLI 친구 Simone씨가 수업에도 있어요. 오전11시부터 오후12시까지 점심을 먹어요. 그리고나서 한국어수업에 가여. 울요일, 화요일 하고 목요일에 한국어수업에 가요. 가끔  한국어수업이 어럽어요 그렇지만 저는 정말 좋아요! 어럽기 때문에 매일 집에 공부해요. 저는 한국을 정말 사랑해요!

Hello everyone! I like my life here in Korea very much. Before I came to Korea I lived in Germany. I liked Germany a lot. The land was very beautiful. On September 1st I came to Korea. Every morning I wake up around 5:30am. Then I eat breakfast. My favorite breakfast food is eggs.  My homestay mother is a very good cook and my father works at an office. my homestay younger sisters are quite young. They are 6, 4, and 2 years old. My life in school is also very good.  My classmates are all very busy but they are very nice. I don’t understand everything, but I study hard anyway. In class I usually do my homework. I am the only Korean-American in my class. My NSLI friend, Simone, is also in my class. From 11-12pm we eat lunch. After that we go to Korean class. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays we have Korean class.  Sometimes Korean class is hard, but I enjoy it anyway! Because it is difficult I study every day. I love Korea so much!
